Shortcut Bar buttons become black and white due to display not refreshed.
Cause:
Another application running has influenced the video display or refresh rate.
Solution:
Right-click on any blank part of the Shortcut Bar to display the shortcut menu. Select 'Refresh Icons' and wait for the Shortcut Bar to reappear.
